Your PDFs are processed on our server and deleted the moment your result is downloaded. Nothing you upload is kept — no copies, no database. Fair use: up to 50 operations per day from one connection.
pdfBench is a free PDF workbench: combine several PDFs into one, split a file into its pages, pull out odd or even pages, extract or reorder pages visually, insert one PDF into another, list the fonts a document uses, and pull out its embedded images. Page thumbnails are rendered in your own browser — the file only reaches our server when you press Process PDF.
pdfBench works with standard, unencrypted PDFs. Password-protected, damaged or
unusually structured files may be rejected or produce incomplete results. Extracted
images are named page003_img02 so they stay in document order; a file
whose internal structure cannot be read falls back to a scan, which says so in the
included index. Font detection reports what the file declares — neither is a
substitute for a full prepress tool.
Very large documents are limited by the upload size and processing time this free
service allows.
This tool is provided free of charge, “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It is offered for general use and does not constitute professional, legal or document-management advice. You are responsible for checking that the output is correct and complete before you rely on it, and for keeping your own copy of any original file.
Files are processed on our server and returned to your browser once. Helium22 Ltd does not save, store, log or otherwise retain the contents of any PDF you upload — uploads are deleted when processing ends and results are deleted when they are downloaded. Because nothing is kept, a result that is lost cannot be recovered or re-issued: download it before you leave the page. Please do not upload material you are not permitted to process, and treat highly sensitive documents with the same care you would give any online service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Helium22 Ltd accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this tool or of any file produced by it, including data loss, corrupted output or business interruption. This is a free, shared service offered without any guarantee of availability, and usage limits apply so that it stays available to everyone. The security of your documents also depends on the device, browser and connection you use — keep them up to date and use a secure (HTTPS) connection.
